Where to get

Where  did you get your cake stand? Also, I was planning on doing gift bags for the guests staying at the hotel...anyone have a recommendation on where I can purchase nice bags? The picture is my inspiration for bags.

Re: Where to get

  • For the cake stand, our baker will rent them out for the wedding for a small refundable deposit, but our venue also has a cake stand and knife available to use, so we're going with that. I'd ask your baker or venue first; you shouldn't need to buy a stand.

For the bags, no idea, sorry, but those are really cute!
  • My baker provides the cake stand, which is included in the price of the cake.

As for the bags, try a place like World Market or even Pier 1.  Be prepared to fork over quite a bit of money, though, and for it to be an international seller.

Our bakery is also providing us with our cupcake towers tiers to rent for a small fee. I would check out etsy for the bags....You might not find exactly that but just search welcome bags and i am sure you will find something. We are using kraft natural color gable boxes :)

My friend reccomended this etsy shop to me-- it comes with ribbon and cardstock already attached and all you have to do is pop it open. My friend said it was easy to assemble

There are a lot of shops on etsy that sell gable boxes as well. HTH!
