Where  did you get your cake stand? Also, I was planning on doing gift bags for the guests staying at the hotel...anyone have a recommendation on where I can purchase nice bags? The picture is my inspiration for bags.

    For the cake stand, our baker will rent them out for the wedding for a small refundable deposit, but our venue also has a cake stand and knife available to use, so we're going with that. I'd ask your baker or venue first; you shouldn't need to buy a stand.

    For the bags, no idea, sorry, but those are really cute!

    My baker provides the cake stand, which is included in the price of the cake. 

    As for the bags, try a place like World Market or even Pier 1.  Be prepared to fork over quite a bit of money, though, and for it to be an international seller.

    Our bakery is also providing us with our cupcake towers tiers to rent for a small fee. I would check out etsy for the bags....You might not find exactly that but just search welcome bags and i am sure you will find something. We are using kraft natural color gable boxes :)

    My friend reccomended this etsy shop to me-- it comes with ribbon and cardstock already attached and all you have to do is pop it open. My friend said it was easy to assemble
