To purse or not to purse?

I know I"m asking alot of questions lately but I'm in crazy get stuff done mode so I wanted your opinions.

What kind of purse are you getting for the wedding?  I originally was looking at a traditional white blingy type purse but they are so small and some of them are very expensive.  So then I was thinking of getting a tote bag (much cheaper and I can iron on Bride or something on it-I already have the transfer sheets so no extra $ spent there).  I mean really, with my dancing slippers, perfume, pashima, makeup etc that I am going to need gettinga small purse seems crazy. 

Should I still get a fancy wedding day purse though?

Honestly, I'm not even planning on getting a purse. I won't be holding it for pictures and anything else I need, I'll just put in the bridal suite upstairs at the venue. Does your place have something like that? If so, then I think you'd be fine getting whatever you like best and just stowing other stuff upstairs.

I'm not using a purse (that's what FI's pockets are for!) but I'll only have lipstick, cell phone and maybe id. With all that stuff it sounds like you need a tote. If you have a tote I don't think you need a separate evening bag. It's just another thing to have to keep track of.

I'm not buying anything separate for this - I hadn't even thought about it haha. I'll probably bring either my regular everyday purse or my hot pink VS bag to keep the essentials for the day/night. I might include a clutch in there to keep some cash, chapstick and maybe my ID or something for the reception.

I bought a purse on groupon and now I'm realizing I probably won't even be using it. I HAVE to have Chapstick on me at all times so ill probably have FI carry that around for me like any other time I don't have a purse on me. Up until the ceremony i may just bring the small clutch around with me.

I am not getting a purse.... im just bringing my stuff over in a tote bag and keeping it in the bridal suite
