Had a mini excitement freak out that were getting married in 3 months... I can't believe it!! It really does fly by!! Tomorrow I'm gonna call my dress shop to schedule my first alterations appointment that I had to wait til January for. Today I'm gonna try and meet up with FMIL and do some small things like printing menus and starting to sew the lace on our invitations cause we need to buy stamps before the price goes up so we need to go get them weighed. I suggest everyone does this before stamp prices go up in two weeks ladies!! I'm very worried about this fiscal cliff because it may mean we can't file taxes for a while and were relying on tax return money to help pay for the wedding so that's the big stressor right now because we don't really know what kind of budget were working with, which this close out kind of sucks. Ahhh so I'm ranting at this point. But we're almost there ladies!!

    Most invites are going to require more than a regular "Forever" stamp, but you can definitely buy them for your RD invites and RSVP cards.  I got mine quite a while back.  Great minds think alike.

    We're also counting on tax returns to help with the wedding, so hopefully this "budget" will pass ASAP. 

    When I kissed FI at midnight, I told him "Happy Wedding Year" and he was all smiles.  I can NOT believe I have about 3.5 months to go and my first fitting in 3 weeks!  It's getting really real.

    The fiscal cliff issue should only affect you going forward in 2013. It should not affect your tax returns for 2012, at least as I understand it. I guess unless you're affected by the AMT tax?

    We're counting on our tax refund to help with the wedding, too.  Good luck!

    On the news it said most people won't be able to file their returns until April, of course our wedding month, so we may not have the money in time. Hopefully the issue is resolved by then but I'm still a worry wart. Not to mention the debt ceiling deadline coming up again that can result in another furlough for my FI.. Ugh the government sucks lately.

    We are using our tax return too pay for most of our wedding and mini-moon. Please oh please dear Lord let everything work out.

    I had no idea about the tax returns being effected by the fiscal cliff problem.  We were looking forward to getting that money for our wedding as well!  Oh boy!  Well, the good news is that its 2013 and we are all getting married!!!
