Monday Morning Check In

Hello :)

I failed - again.  I blame PMS this time.  That or the fact that I started working out again and that makes me gain weight... frustrating!  Well, it has to tone me even if I weigh more.  So, I'll keep doing that and I am switching to low carb.  Not Atkins or anything crazy like that, but I am limiting my carbs to 50 a day because all I eat is carbs being a vegetarian.  I am still keeping the calories at 1200-1400 as well.  I cheat every weekend and it just undoes my whole week of being good, so no more cheat weekends.  Except this weekend... bridal shower and bachelorette party :)  Time to get serious!

  • I had a bad weekend.  Shower on Saturday and then ate a whole pizza on Saturday night.  Scared to weigh myself today.  I exercised last night though and am drinking lots of water to flush my system.  I don't think this next weekend will be much better since it is FI's birthday.

  • I am the same way! Eat good during the week and ruin it all on the weekends...This weekend we ordered pizza Friday night and then had taco bell last night EEK
  • FMIL had "family night" Friday and ordered pizzas. I spent an two hours working out Saturday and worked out Sunday. The scale doesn't change much for me but that's because the fat I am losing is being replaced by muscle. I try not to focus on the scale so much but more by how my clothes fit. They are getting looser while my weight stays the same, so something must be changing!

    If my FI didn't want to keep track of his weight, I'd toss the scale entirely because it just messes with my mind.

  • I was really good last week and okay this weekend but not as good as I would have liked to have been.  Bachelorette party is this weekend so I'm going to try to be pretty moderate with everything. Next week I will be back into buckling down and focusing on getting strong!
  • I actually bit the bullet and weighed myself this weekend and was pleasantly surprised that I'm definitely at my goal weight. Plus, I went to my second fitting and everything fit beautifully!! So I just need to figure out how to maintain now. Considering wedding prep is in full swing and the weekends seem to be harder to keep on track, I may just try to be really good during the week and as good as I can on the weekends.

    I'm doing pilates once a week at work (they have it in a conference room at lunch time) and it is WAY more intense than I expected for an at work class. I'm loving it though and can feel my abs and arms getting some work. So that's good as well.
  • Everyone seems to be eating pizza!  Funny I really wanted pizza and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be!
  • Finally had a good week I felt like sharing.  I am down 2.5lbs from last week.  Which was much needed because the scale wasn't giving me any love last week.  I really wanted to be down another 6-8lbs but I have my dress fitting next week and the likelihood that I will make it down that much by then doesn't seem too likely (only been averaging (1-1.5lbs a week). And once I have the dress fitted, I don't really want to keep losing and then have my dress not fit quite right so I'm about at the point I will have to be for the wedding.  I plan to ease up on the cardio a little and do more toning exercises at that point.

  • I'm 12 weeks pregnant so I pretty much threw the idea of looking "hot" out the window lol.  I keep telling myself at least I'll have that "pregnancy glow!"
