Got my invites in the mail (destination wedding so a bit earlier than normal). Had my first two fittings done already. Mostly just need to pay some costs down now!

NWR: started a new job last week. very time consuming... I put in 50 hours my first week so everything has to be done on the weekends now!! Crunch time is gonna be stressful!!

Yay for checks!  My thank you cards came in the mail yesterday along with my Shower dress and the place cards so I can print them when the time comes.

Next on my list is scheduling my first fitting.

This week, I got one of my bridesmaid gifts ordered, and started addressing inviations. This weekend- ordering the cake and getting the last bridesmaid gift. Booking the mini-moon today too!

Finalized the flowers yesterday, hair trial on Friday, picking out the cake on Saturday and registering this weekend.  whew!  That's a lot!!!!

Actually, I've gotten a bit done in the past few days:
*Designed the programs, the escort cards and the table numbers (need to tweak still for details that we haven't decided - like readings...and where people are sitting...but the design is there!)
*Bought gifts for the bridesmaids.
*Bought our return address stamp
*Started looking into honeymoon flights, wedding insurance, and the rehearsal dinner

I think next on our list is starting to make our escort card holders, buying our cupcake stand, figuring out direction cards/designing/printing those, and then weighing/measuring our invites to figure out postage.

We have finalized the ceremony with the Minister this week.  I have a floral appointment Jan 26 and after that shoe shopping for the wedding/honeymoon.  I think FI and I will go to buy some small stuff, unity candle, birdcage for cards, vases for centerpieces etc. this weekend.  February 10th is my hair/makeup trial, so I am not super busy right now, but in the next few weeks I will be very busy!

I ordered a sixpence dated the year FI and I were both born.
Something old(done my rhinestone brooch bouquet is made from family heirloom jewels, something new (my dress), something borrowed(1 brooch goes back to my mom), something blue (??) and a sixpence for her shoe(done).
I know, in the grand scheme of things not much but I'll take my baby sized victory today!

Today I did nothing but go to the doctor because I have been so sick these past few days.  But after the doctor and getting antibiotics for my sinus infection I came home and starting looking into music for the ceremony. So even when sick I got at least one thing done today!

We finally have our rehearsal dinner booked. We are spending slightly more then we would like, but I think it will even out bc she did a rough estimate on bottles of wine etc. Good checks everyone!
