We spent 2 fabulous weeks on the other side of the world in Palau. We are frequent travellers so we wanted to find something totally off of the beaten path and different from anything we've done before. Also, we had saved up a half a million airmiles for the honeymoon and wanted to go somewhere worth the miles and very remote. I had read about (and then seen on the show Survivor) the jellyfish lake that's filled with millions of jellyfish that have lost their sting because they have no predators and swimming in there was on my bucket list--happens to be in Palau. So 240K airmiles, 4 flights and 32 hours later, we touched ground on the tiny island. We spent half our time at a nice resort and the other half in a secluded cabin on the ocean. It was beautiful, exotic, romantic and relaxing.

Just steps from our room-- we had the place to ourselves most of the time.
