venue for baby shower

Hi ladies, man this board has slowed down since I was on it in '05/06.  Anyway, can you all think of a place to hold a baby shower that might be on the affordable side (less than $400 for 2 hours)?

The pavilion at Lafreniere Park is $200 an hour I think.  You might also want to look at the Elks or Lions hall.

You can do a lunch or party food for $20-ish per person at a restaurant like Messina's, Chad's Bistro, or Vincent's but that might go over your budget if you are having more than 20 people.

Try contacting Kenner parks and recreation.. They offer a bunch of different venues at affordable prices.... The Mardi gras Museum, Exhibition Hall---All are located in Rivertown.  Try googling... I hosted a shower there and it was around that price or less!..
