I'm an OOTB planning our wedding for this May. We've seen the Smoking Time Jazz Club play a couple of times during recent visits, and are big fans. After contacting them about playing our reception in the quarter, they replied that they would love to perform, and that they don't take a deposit and always use verbal contracts. So we wouldn't be out any money, but if the day arrives and something happens and they can't make it, we'd be bandless! Are any of y'all familiar with the band, or has anyone used them for an event before? Thanks so much in advance
