Wedding is the day after the election...NVM

Yep, I didn't really think about it until the last few months, but our wedding is the day after the presidential election.  OH WELL!  Hopefully our wedding will be a welcome distraction for our guests.  We have friends and family on both sides of the political spectrum, so someone is bound to be angry about the results.  Anyone else getting married on November 3rd? 

**haha NEVERMIND! The election is November 6th! (whew)

    How funny! 

    I believe that no matter what date you end up picking for a wedding, there's always some reason not to pick that date. :) However, I don't think the election is any reason to fret! While your guests may get into some political discussions, I would think its highly unlikely that anyone would involve YOU in such a discussion, so I really wouldn't sweat it!

    PS I went to two weddings the first weekend in November last year, and both had simply amazing weather - it was perfect! I don't think you could ask for a better date!

    Election Day is November 6, 2012.  It always falls on the first Tuesday of November, so your guests will have a couple of days to get over the outcome.

    OH MAN!!! Thanks louisianablue!!! I don't know why, but for some reason I thought the election was November 2nd, so that's a big relief.  My wedding is November 3rd, so the election isn't until AFTER the wedding...

    So that just means my fiance and I will need to vote early since we'll be on our honeymoon on November 6th!  :)
