I just saw these online and I'm in love:

How cool are these?? Apparently they sell kits that contain wicks, plastic bases, and the powdered dye, but I can't imagine these would be difficult to DIY. Just need to find the plastic to make the bases and some really awesome glass containers!

Seriously check the Dollar Tree- very similar styles available but not sure if they are comprable in size!

I was going to say the same thing about Dollar Tree. Surprisingly, they have many of the same styles (and similar quality) to Michael's, for a fraction of the cost (since everything is $1).  The Dollar Tree on Canal Blvd in Lakeview seems like they have the best in-store selection, but you can also go online and order them if they don't have them in the store and have them shipped to the store closest to you for free.  It's definitely worth looking.

I live in Lakeview and frequently find myself in the store for nick nacks. They seem to always have those vases in stock and definitely in a variety of sizes. May I ask what website you're purchasing the kits from?
