Second Line Band on a Budget?

Hey there brides.....I am looking for a second line band on an extremely tight budget. Anyone have any references?

The cheapest I've seen mentioned on this board was I think $600. Then there's the permit and police escort fee, so budget in another $350. I don't remember the name of the band, try searching back through second line posts. Good luck!

We are using Dr. Jazz (they're also playing our reception). They charge $500 for a four-piece second line and $600 for a five-piece second line.

I had Dr. Jazz for my wedding in May and they were $500. They were wonderful and worth every penny!

Yes, just for the second line. Their prices for reception are very reasonable too though!

Thanks for sharing! This gave me chills! I am going to share it with my bridesmaids to get them excited for the parade (most of them are OOT and not familiar with the custom!)
