Stonebridge Golf Club (Gretna)

Hi there ladies! So I've narrowed my venue list down but there's still one place I have to visit and that is Stonebridge Golf Club in Gretna. I haven't heard much about them so  I'd love any pictures or reviews that you all might have. Also, if there are any other recommendations on venues for the bride on a budget.

    I actually viewed Stonebridge on Friday. The space is lovely! The fireplace in the middle and the stairs are a nice touch and look. Audio and lights are already set up for you. Plus, the extras that are included is great. We are deciding on not using the Stonebridge because it will be to far out for our guests. However, if for some reason we are unable to find anything in NO on a budget, then we will definitely go with Stonebridge. Also, I got to see the set up with 1st class catering and they did a wonderful job as well!! I honestly don't think you can go wrong with this place. Where else have you looked? How many ppl on your guest list?

    Thank you so much for offering your opinion. I'm planning on inviting a maximim of 175 guests but I have alternate lists with as few as 120 guests. I've gotten quotes from dozens of places. However, the places I've visited are listed below.

    Kenner - Heritage Hall, Presidential Palace, Messina's

    Metairie - Jefferson Orleans North and South

    Elmwood - Magnolia Plantation

    Algiers - Celebrations Hall

    Terrytown - A Day to Remember Garden Club

    Marrero - Taravella Manor

    Which venue have you decided on? I'm started to plan a wedding for the end of this year and I'm curious to see which venue you have decided on. I have checked into the ones above excpet for Jefferson Orleans North and South and Celebrations. Celebrations is on my list to call today.

    We decided on Stonebridge and put down our deposit Saturday!!! One thing down, one hundred more to go.... LOL....Good luck!
