Need flowers and shoes fast...

Getting married on the 17th of this month, instead of October like we planned, because the groom is getting deployed. I need flowers and shoes. I would like to wear a bright teal shoe. And I just need a small amount of flowers. I will want a small bouquet for myself, and a basket of petals for the flower girl.

Also, what am I forgetting? I feel like a crazy person, running around doing everything at the last minute.

Re: Need flowers and shoes fast...

  • i would head straight to whole foods. They have beautiful fresh flowers all the time and will put them in arrangement for free i think, or you can contact christina omalley. She's my wedding florist.

Also, clip on earrings? Maybe? I'm SO frazzled.
  • Dorignac's also does flowers and deliver. I would head to zappos for shoes- they have fast and free shipping. Or Shoenami or Shoe Box, they have a lot of colorful heels! Good luck and thank your husband for serving our country!
  • i would just go to dillards at lakeside for shoes and earrings and any other accessories.
  • Macy's has some really cute shoes, I always find what I'm looking for there, though it isn't cheap.

Old.New.Blue has some shoes and accessories as well, but again, not cheap, in case that's what you're looking for.

Christina O'Malley was my florist and she was amazing. She also does great last-minute work with whatever her resources are (I forgot to order a bouquet for my bridal portraits and she came up with a very close mini version of my real bouquet with like 1 day's notice). PM me if you can't find her contact info and I'll dig it up for you.

  • For clip on earrings, I'd try Macy's. That's where I got my earrings from. As far as shoes, try any of the major dept stores, like Macy's or Dillards. Or you could even try a bridal store for dyeable shoes in the color you want. I agree with a PP who said try Whole Foods for flowers. We threw a baby shower for my cousin this past summer and bought arrangements from them a couple days beforehand. We put them in the fidge and they held up fne.

    Good luck!
