caterer question

is it possible to get all the benifits of a catererie: tables, chairs, linens, glassware, place settings, coffee service, servers and clean up with out having them provide the food?I really want to have a specific place provide the food but they don't have all the perks of using traditional caterers.does anyone have any ideas?if not how about some good cateres for 125 people with a 5-6k budget?

I'm not sure about caterers minus the food. I know you can get tables, chairs, linens, glassware, china from a party rental place. Not sure about servers and bartenders. But Atlantic Caterers are fantastic and would fall in your budget. We used them last October and were nothing but absolutely thrilled!! We worked with Raoul, but I've also heard great things about Kristin.Dean & Brown caterers also gets rave reviews around here, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

You could... but it would be a lot to coordinate. For example, tables and chairs are usually provided by the venue or they can be rented. Linens, glassware and place settings can also be rented from a party company. There are independant companies that hire out servers/bartenders for events. If it were me, I would serve the Argentine asado at the rehearsal dinner. It would be a smaller event to cater, and you could host it at their restaurant, if they have one, or another, smaller venue.
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!
