Ok. I got home from work last night, super excited that my save-the-dates would finally be there. When we open the box they came in, my heart DROPS. The date says 11-09-09. We are getting married 11-07-09. I have to be honest, I cried. Over save-the-dates. And because I'm the worst bride ever if I can't even get my wedding date straight. My FI tried to console me, while likely thinking I have gone off the deep end. He called magnetstreet.com for me and they said they could send us out new ones for another $80 but they wouldn't get there for 2 more weeks, when we'll be on vacation. Um, that's not going to work. I was already late getting them out (3.5 months before wedding!). So now I have envelopes, hotel info cards, return address labels and all... but no save-the-date magnets  I learned my lesson... I must TRIPLE check the proofs before ok'ing them.

Don't worry about sending them too late!  I only sent mine about 3-4 months before the wedding also.  Check into doing VistaPrint, since you've already spent some money  on them -if you have a PDF of the proof they gave you, you can upload it to vista print and do their free postcards - and I think Andrea has a code to do a free upload.  So you just have to pay for the shipping.I'm always concerned something like that is going to happen, it doesn't make you a bad bride.  It just means you were so excited about getting them that you overlooked something.

I am sorry about that mix up!!  I had a similar problem with my invites, I had found this really cute saying to go on them.  When I got home to show my FI (I went alone), he was like there are no commas and periods..your a teacher!!  That is the biggest run-on sentence ever!  Luckliy, they order hadn't been processed, but according to the saleslady they were in the pile to be made or something like that.  I am sure everything else will turn out fine!! I am coming done to the wire too and everything wedding related had made me super emotional, even if it is going right!

Oh I am so sorry! I had a smiliar experience, I spelled a word wrong. Duh! I would second vista print. Maybe if you call Vista print they can help you out. There are numerous codes for them to be cheaper. If you call them maybe you can get them shipped quicker. I had mine printed and shipped in three days.

Is there any way you can fix it?  Maybe you can get some cutre sticker labels and print the right date on them.  The key is to make sure it looks like you designed them that way.  I am sorry that happened to you!  Good luck whatever you decide to do.

First off, you're not a bad bride.  Second, it was a mistake.  It sucks that you might have to pay for them again, but perhaps you can do what weezie suggested and get a cute sticker to cover up that date.  *hug*  Hang in there!
