Final Dress Fitting/Alterations

My wedding like a little over two months away, when is a good time to do this final dress fitting to see if I need any alterations?  Should I have done it already, or so I still have time?

    do it now....mine is oct 24th and just had mine done.

    My wedding is October 10 and I'm going for my first fitting today. I was told that three fittings are average (unless you are losing weight left and right and keep having to get it altered) so between now and October 10, I have to schedule another two. If I were you, I would start scheduling your fittings.
