direction cards

When including direction cards with the invitations, do you include directions to both the ceremony and reception if they are at different places? Either that or just include direction to the ceremony in the actual invitation and hand out directions to the reception on the wedding day at the ceremony with the programs?

That's a good question, I had the same problem! Our guests are coming from all over so I would've needed to include 4 sets of directions to the ceremony plus directions to the reception- too much! So I just did an "Additional Information" card that directs people to our website for detailed directions, and also includes the hotel reservation phone number. I figured the handful of non-computer savvy people can ask someone else or call us for directions! We're going to include directions from the ceremony to the reception in the programs.

I agree with pp that you can probably have directions to the reception from the ceremony in your programs.  I enclosed a directions card in the invitations.    I don't think there is a wrong way to do it though.  Whatever you decide on, people will get where they need to be.

I did both, only because I used Vista Print and could fit it.  I also put directions to the reception site on the back of the programs thinking some people may forget their direction cards.
