Maryland-Baltimore

I need reception & general help. :(

I have very little time to plan my wedding.... our date is October 24th at 2 pm... things are in such a rush because we will be moving shortly after that. (Military)So, I am in a crunch to find an INEXPENSIVE place to have our reception. It's a small wedding... about 50ish people. And, I need any kind of military wedding help you can throw at me!:) Thanks!

We're going for the Baltimore/Towson/Parkville sort of area. I've messaged VFW halls and left messages galore! Thanks for the suggestions... I will certianlly start doing that! :)

I was going to suggest looking into restaurants.  If they don't have a banquet room, they might be able to clear a space for you.  You can even look into hotels - they have restaurants too, and small banquet rooms that are used for meetings.  Just a thought.

I am having my rehearsal dinner at Damon's in Hunt Valley.  They have a banquet room (seats up to 100 but not really huge) and they are very affordable.  The one in Perry Hall may have a smilar set up.  For buffet its only 12.99 a person and includes soft drinks ice tea and coffee in that price.  There is a room charge but its nominal.

Thanks so much guys! :) The wedding it self is at my church, in on the edge of Parkville. We were going to do the reception in the hall down stairs, but just my luck they start renovations the week before, so unless I want dust everywhere, a sticky glue like floor, and some missing windows, I don't think that will work too well! Bleh! :) Thanks again so much! I've started calling some places. Found a few halls. We know it will be under 100 guests for sure, thank God! haha. Thanks again!

We are having our rehersal at Harryman House in Reisterstown and they have a big room in the front that i think seats about 50 people. The food is delicious and they are really easy to work with

Okay I live in Parkville and had to look into places for my reunion and my inlaws 40th anniversary so I'm in the know of a few placesTry Jerry D's...has an upstairs and downstairs private hall, had my sis shower and rehearsal dinner here, not fancy but very affordable.Hazelwood Inn...doesn't look much from outside, kind of in between the city and Rosedale...the upstairs room is GORGEOUS and huge, prices are very affordable, food is awesome...we had 40th anniversary dinner here and best decision I ever made.there's a place on Loch Raven Blvd with a nice private lounge and they'll customize the menu...Johnny D's.Red Brick is awesome but they do have a room charge you don't have with other places
