ok to walk?

i was wondering what everything thought about having guests walk about half a block from the hotel to the ceremony and then back to the reception? i can't see getting transportation for 200+ guests for less than one block. i was however thinking about arranging transportation for those that would not be able to make the journey, like my grandparents.our reception is at camden yards and our ceremony is at the otterbein church just down conway st. the hotel is the hilton right next to camden yards. do you think our guests will consider this rude?

No, I don't think it's rude.  I think it would be kind of nice.  The only thing is if it rains, you may want to have extra umbrellas in case.  Sometimes in Baltimore, you have to park 2 or 3 blocks away from a venue anyway!

I don't think that's rude and I've had to walk a few blocks in Baltimore for a friend's wedding and wasn't bothered by it.  People will be ok!

I concur. I do not think it is rude at all to have your guests walk a half a block. They may actaully appreciate the stretch.
