10/10 Vendor Reviews

Ceremony/Reception - The Westin Annapolis - A-/B - The hotel is amazing and everything there was perfect.  Throughout the planning process, and since the wedding, we've had issues with our coordinator.  She can get snappy with us and there was a whole miscommunication with the linens - don't call the bride every day the week of the wedding verifying things when it is all in writing (right in front of you).  It got to be very stressful.  But, as a whole, the venue was great, the food was great.  Email me if you want more details.Cake - Sweet Bakery - A+ - It was exactly how we (I) imagined.  It was bright, mad-hatter style, and tasted great.  Everyone kept commenting on how 'us' it was and that they had never seen anything like it.  It was perfect.  And they went above and beyond on the groom's cake.  DH was thrilledFlowers - Divine Designs and Events - A+ - Colleen is perfect!  She was totally creative and full of ideas.  The centerpieces were amazing and I couldn't stop looking at my bouquet - I was in love.  It was everything I could have imagined.  The colors were perfect - OH, except the bouts were a little off in the color, but she can't really fix that.  In the end, no big deal.DJ - Abs Entertainment, Jason Wallace - A - Jason kept the dance floor packed all night and was a blast to work with.  He truly enjoys his job and it showed with every meeting or email or phone call we had.  Everyone loved him and he's very easy on the eyes (as almost all of the female attendees told me).  The only reason he doesn't get a "+" is because, by no fault of his own, didn't play all of the songs on the 'must play' list.  I think I had too many on there...no big deal though...the important ones were played.Photographer - Renee Michele - A++ - I know, I haven't seen the pictures yet, but I just love her.  She got DH to actually enjoy the picture taking time...that's a feat!  She and her husband were there early to take 'getting ready' photos and you wouldn't even know they were there.  Renee went above and beyond to get perfect pictures, and I can't wait to see them (and show you guys).Videographer - LarMar Video, Larry Bridge - A+, I know, I haven't seen the video either, but Larry was a blast to work with.  He's full of energy and would do anything needed to make us happy.  He went above and beyond to get every shot perfect and make the day easier for us.  Can't wait to see the finished product.Ceremony/Cocktail Hour Music, Bay Strings - A - Martha Vance was a dream to work with.  She was very thorough and detail oriented.  The string trio for the ceremony was perfect and sounded great...same with the cocktail hour.  They fit right in and made it seem very lounge-y.  Perfect! My dress - Gamberdella - A - Other than taking 8+ months to come in, they were a pleasure to deal with.  Their alterations woman (while a little crazy) is amazing and can do wonders!!  Other dresses - Betsy Robinson and Vasari - A+ - Everyone had great experiences with both stores.  Can't really complain.Makeup - Up Dos for I Dos, Cara - A+ - Cara did a great job.  Everyone loved her.  Even my aunt jumped in the mix to get her makeup done since she loved everyone elses.  Cara is laid back and was able to get everyone done ahead of schedule.Hair - Looks, Julie and Eleana - A+ - They were perfect.  They worked together and were also ahead of schedule.  Everyone loved how their hair came out and they worked to fix whatever did go wrong.  It was a pleasure having them there.Rehearsal Dinner - Red Hot and Blue, Laurel - A - The food was good and the room was a perfect size.  It was a very relaxed BBQ style dinner.  Unassuming and comfortable.  The owner was great to work with.  We love that place. If you made it this far...good for you, thanks for reading.  I hope I didn't forget anything.  If you have any questions or want specific info, please email me, smange5 at hotmail dot com.
