Hair & Makeup in Baltimore

Hi girls, I'm helping a friend find a salon in Baltimore that does wedding hair & makeup. She lives in Boston, but is having her wedding in Baltimore so she won't be able to fly down for a trial.. It would be great if she could see pictures of their work, but any information would help!! TIA!

Up Dos for I Dos is very popular around here. They do hair and makeup and will travel to you for the big day. I haven't really heard a bad thing about them and their prices are very reasonable. Nicole Palermo (sp?) and Amie Decker are also very popular for makeup.

Also check out Baltimore Bridal Hair and Makeup. They have rave reviews on Weddingwire, and from a couple of recently married Bmore knotties. I signed with Jamie and Megan of BBH to do my hair and makeup but haven't had a trial yet.

Jackie Messman from Headlines Salon will come to your place and do it!! She does it all on her own, but she was able to do me, mom, gmom, 2 bridesmaids and a flower girl all in under four hours. She did hair AND make up and it looks wonderful. She has a web site its something like Bridal Hair Design MD.

If you are looking for a Salon to go to I used Lluminaire... they have a downstairs that can be private for bridal parties. They are in Towson. I used Julie for hair and Brittani for makeup and they were wonderful!
