XP: dress and cardigan

My wedding is in January, so it's going to be really cold. I've decided that I want to wear a cardigan with my wedding gown, both to keep me warm and because I really like the look. However, I'm having a lot of trouble choosing a cardigan.

It would be in a pale pink/purple color which appears to no longer be on the website.

Hm... I do like that sweater.  But personally, I think you need something a little more dressy.

The only thing is it's a litle pricier than the Old Navy one... I didn't see much on the ON site that caught my eye... I'll keep looking though!

SweetCFly - I'm totally fine with spending more than the Old Navy one, and I love the one you suggested! It looks like it only comes in black, though, and it also seems to be sold out in my size (I would probably need a small or medium).

My only concern with the J Crew one is that it's wool, so it might be really itchy... also it's 3/4 length sleeves rather than long sleeve...

I think adding a little something extra over your dress is a great idea!  The only problem I see with a cardigan like the ones above (while SUPER cute) is that their length might not hide the curves that your dress is giving you - mostly I think it may hide your waist.  If this isn't a concern, ignore me, just adding my two cents.

i totally agree with kimbrout - adding something like that is a great idea - very cute, however, i too think it should be something shorter. It will show more of your curves but it will also show more of your gown, and in my opinion it's a little more dressy.  I love the pink bebe one she suggested, very cute!

Kimbrout- you hit the nail on the head when I was thinking about "something more dressy".  I am fashion-retarded.  lol.  BOLERO is the term!  I love the Bebe, Express and especially Limited.  Great selections!
