Day of Coordinator

Ladies, I need your help. I am looking for some rec's for a day of coordinator. I am planning from out of town and will need someone to help with the ceremony mainly on the day of. I am looking for someone affordable as our budget didn't really plan for a day of coordinator. Thanks so Much

    Can you get a hold of a Columbus Bride magazine at all? If not, I would look here on TK. I wish I could help you more, but we are not doing one. I definitely know what it is like planning out of state - it is hard, but possible.

    Where are you in the Atlanta area? We live in Augusta, but originally from Columbus.

    Ana Titus, aka fellow knottie earl&pearl.  I didn't end up needing a DOC b/c my venue coordinator served as on, but I would have booked her.  :)

    We are using Lourdes Barroso de Padilla, (Atime2toast @ gmail.com). She's cuban-american, and amazing!

    I was in the same boat as you, as we didn't put it in the budget, then I realized I would go crazy without some serious help.  She's been doing event planning for years and years, but does wedding planning on the side, which makes her super affordable.   
    She's asking $500 for what we are asking her, but she's dang near a full on planner for us (or at least that's my opinion).  She's also very open to hearing what you can afford.

    I highly recommend Celebrations By Kate.  She is independant and does not have the overhead cost of some of the others we looked at.  She is helping my finalize my arrangments with Vendors and everything. Plus will be there the weekend her prices blew me away and she is amazing.

    I second Ana Titus! We booked her for our wedding in Sept and she has been fantastic! We've already met with her twice and she's sent us tons of information that has been extremely helpful.

    I did my research on costs and I am certain that you will not find a better deal in town!
