Bluestone, formerly known as BOMA

Hello fellow knotties!

Has anyone been to, or had their wedding at Bluestone/BOMA? What did you like about it? Not like?

BF and I toured it when we were thinking about venues a few months ago. we liked the general space. they have two cool bars and ample seating for dinner or cocktails upstairs. there's a great stage area for a band or for dancing. overall it's a great party space. however i felt it was a bit overpriced and there are no nearby hotels (a dealbreaker for me). if that doesn't bug you then it'd probably be an amazing choice for you. good luck!

I have to agree with Miss Owl--great space, but it was going to cause a pretty big increase in our budget. It was our first choice as far as experience, but the food/beverage minimum alone is $10,000!

We got married at BoMA in September and have no regrets!  The space was perfect to have the ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception all in the same place with plenty of free parking and it looked so beautiful with all the candles we put everywhere.  We loved it because it was unique with all the woodwork & stained glass, but it also had all the modern conveniences.  I didn't really care for Ashley (the event coordinator), but there were no major hiccups the day-of so I can't complain.  If you want further details or pictures from our wedding, you can email me at lisajo19@hotmail.com.  Good luck and happy planning!
