I am not a doctor but I will pray that he get's better soon. I am so sorry that he is not feeling...I can't take it when "babies" are sick. Does your son's doctor have a paging system for on-call doctor's

Call the Dr's emergency on-call or take him to urgent care/ER. If its getting worse that's not good.

It sounds pretty serious in my completely unmedical opinion.

i agree, i would take him to ER. If it is actually an emergency, urgant care will send you to ER, so by-pass the $200 urgant care fee! Allergic reactions are dangerous, hope he gets better soon.

Ice it and take him in....Every once in a while my eye does that (it's happened my whole life) and it is an allergic reaction (in my case to some type of animal)....if you don't make it in to ER, try benedryl, it's an antihistamine so it should slow down whatever reaction he's having.

I hate to say this but thats actually not uncommon for kids! They have a tendancy to rub the eyes with hands full of germs thats probably how he caught it. I would never mess with the eyes always go straight to ER, did he have a fever?
