Since FI and I met in Florida, and I love the green cymbidium orchids, I thought it would be appropriate to have an elegant and tropical theme wedding in May. The BM dresses are apple green, and the flowers are a blend of hot pink and orange flowers.
Well, when the BM dresses came in, they were a softer green than I had expected, but I love it even more; however, it doesn't match with the GM vests and ties, so I'm starting to think about silver for the GM. Then, I stared to look at invitations, and I found a elegant and plain invite with a silver trim border. And to add to it yesterday, I met with the chair covers and linens company, planning to go with the green sash on a white chaircover and fell in love with this soft silver satin ruffled chair cover. I had a swatch of my BM dresses, and the green didn't go with any of their shades of green; however, it looked great with the silver chair covers.
Do you think its still elegant and tropical if my colors are apple green and silver, with hot pink and orange flowers?
