place to get "printable invites" printed for me

I was super excited to find simple print-your self invites that I loved at, of all places, Meijer. They were 75% off, so I got all of the invites for less than $50, including many, many extra boxes, just in case! I was planning on purchasing them through a site that would have been MUCH more expensive, but when I saw the great deal, I realized it was an area of the wedding I really didn't mind spending a little less on. I read somewhere that you can actually take these type of invitations to a printer and have them printed for you, rather than using your own printer and ink. Given the price of ink, it's an option I want to look into, if only to have a cost comparison. Has anyone ever done this or looked into it? Any recomendation on a place to have this done?

I'm attaching a picture of the invites. Since my fiance's last name is "Sparrow", we have a bird and branch  type theme, so I'm planning on adding a sweet little bird to the branch with a stamp. We'll also be using blue ball jars as centerpieces, that's why there is one in the picture too...I was so happy with how well the colors work together!

  • Hi ! I am sorry that I am not responding about the printing, but actually wanted to see when your wedding is, and if you are looking for more blue ball jars.  I am using them in my wedding in two weeks, and will be selling them after.  I have lots of pints and quarts, and four larger gallon (?) size.  Please let me know if you are interested.  Thanks!

    Hi!

My mom and I have been collecting them at garage sales and estate sales all summer, so I need to take an inventory and see how we are doing. I might take you up on your offer though! Do you have a price in mind per jar or for the whole collection?  My wedding isn't until next August.
  • Hi again- I am asking the price that I paid for them - $3/pint and $3.50/quart.  I think I have at least 64 pints, and I think 60+ quarts.  I was not having luck at garage sales and found these through 3 separate people on Craigslist - two from their daughters weddings and 1 who finds them at auctions.

If you think you might be interested, just let me know - this is my email. anna_collinson@hotmail.com.

I will also have burlap table runners if you are doing a rustic theme, and probably some other misc. stuff.

    Thanks!

Try FedEx Office.  If you are just printing black and white, they should be able to print them for really cheap .10 ea?  Just set your text up in pdf format and have the measurements of the invites, they can size it for you.  Just have your text done or it can be expensive for them to 'create' it for you.  Hope that helps, and congrats on the find!
