One of my bridesmaids quit on me after my bridal shower. I was floored! She said it was because I said something mean to another bridesmaid at my shower (scratching my head for several reasons) but didn't give me any details. Just sent a nasty email and quit. Oh yeah after I paid the balance off on her dress. Oh well, life goes on....I found a replacement and all is well now!

FI's friend from high school is coming up from Ohio for the weekend and staying with us.  This is my second time meeting him and his wife and I was not all that impressed with them the first time.  Too explain a little more, FI is 12 years older than me and his friends acted like they were old farts complaining about aches and pains. Telling me to just wait until I get to be their age.  Wait, FI is your age and he doesn't have all these problems you do!  This and a few other things about them bothered me so needless to say I am not excited!

That sucks.  And I'm sure it's too late now, but I really don't think a "replacement" is a good idea.  The sides don't have to be equal.  And she will likely know she was a replacement.  If someone asked me to be a bridesmaid a month before the wedding, I'd realize that I was second-string and politely decline.

I'm sorry, but it reminds me of when I watch Bridezilla's and the girl is like "well, I just kicked so and so out of the wedding, so now you can be in it". I don't understand that. It's not like a sport where you have to have so many people on the team in order to play. It's your wedding, don't include people for the sake of having an equal bridal party.

When I started planning I knew I wanted my date to be Easter weekend 2011.  I have alot of out-of-town guests coming, and it would be easy on me and them to have it then.  WELL all this time, I have been under the crazy impression that easter was 4/17/2011 (My date is 4/16/2011).  So Im talking to my church wedding coordinator to confirm somethings and somehow the topic of the dates came up where she informed me that Easter weekend is not when I thought, but actually 04/24/2011!!!  After arguing with her for 10mins because I just knew I was right (wrong!!) we googled it and long and behold she was right (this never happens to me!).  Im now in complete panic mode!!  I call some of my other vendors who I know I told "blah blah blah I need easter weekend in 2011", and what do you know they have me down for 4/23/11 as well  :-(      I had to leave my desk at work to go cry for about 10 minutes in the bathroom.  After that I tried to get all the vendors organized to the same date which I pretty much did except one, the church!!  They don't want to do a cereomy on Easter weekend.

Im just so mad at myself for not catching this, Im the most organized person ever, almost to a fault!!  And no one else after all this time seemed to have caught it either................UGHG!!!!!!
