I am super proud of my non crafty self...So I had to show off my weekend DIY's

Unity Candle

Card Box

It looks super bright with the flash..but the purple and red are much darker! Oh and I fixed the uneven D and S..Just noticed I picked the bad picture.  lol

Luminary Table numbers ( By far my most difficult task.)

Place cards are done too but I couldn't figure out how to black out the names!!!

Those luminaries are beautiful!  I wanted them for myself but just couldn't manage undertaking that DIY project.  Your cardbox is soo cute too!  Again, just another thing I didn't want to do but think they are so cute when other people do them!

Milsey-  The unity candle was super easy.  I printed the poem and love birds on some 8 x 11.5 vellum paper then cut the paper to fit perfectly around the candle and over lap about 1/4 inch.  Hot glue the paper together once wrapped tightly around the candle.  Then just hot glue your ribbon onto the paper.

The lumanaries are just card stock cut into 6.5 x 5.5 rectangles.  Then numbers I printed out in word in edwardian script in a size 400 font. ( I think.)  I cut the numbers out and then traced them onto the card stock and then cut them out individually using a scalpel and cutting pad. I then put vellum a paper behind each of the cut out numbers so you couldn't see the candle.  Then I glued the three pieces of card stock together to make a  triangle and put a votive in side.  It was time consuming but once I was done and saw what they looked like...it was worth it.
