speeches?

Who is giving a speech at your wedding?  Also, did you or are you planning on saying a short speech thanking people for coming, etc?  Either by you or FI?

FI's brother & cousin and my MOH are giving speeches. FI and I will talk for no longer than a minute or two just thanking people for coming.

MOH, BM and Dad; I'll also add a few words on our behalf.

Not 100% sure, but probably just MOH, BM, and my dad.  Both Bri and I are deathly afraid of public speaking (even though it's all our friends and family) so we probably won't want to say anything.  Who knows?  That may change.  I'm planning on asking either my brother or his best friend to say the prayer before dinner.

Dad did a real quick welcome. MOH and Best Man spoke. Dad did the prayer. Then DH's childhood best friend did a quick speech after dinner before we cut the cake.

MOH & BM gave speeches.  DH & I did not & honestly it's because i had no idea people did that, i had never been to a wedding where the bride/groom gave a speech but now looking back, i think it would have been a good idea.  we did however go table to table & thanked everyone so i think that was ok.

I think it's just going to be MOH and BM. I will be giving a short thank you speech as well, cause FI hates speaking in public.

A bridesmaid and a groomsman...we are not having MOH or BM.  We will also thank everyone, were paying for it and hosting so I would think that is appropriate.
