Footwear help needed!

As stated in my wedding timeline post, we want to do a lot of the pictures outside (assuming the weather cooperates).  The lawn behind the Lodge is quite hilly and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to naviate them well in heels...so what kind of footwear could I get that would still be tall enough to keep my dress off the ground? Thanks!!

Hmm, it's gonna be November right?! I was originally thinking some cute wedge flip flops but probably not in November...

this may not help you at all... but being outdoors and at a lodge in the fall ... i would wear boots. brown leather riding boots. but.. thats just me.

Yup...in November so probably not flip flops (I wish!). I like the idea of boots, Tricia.  I wonder if I could find some tall enough...hmmmm.  The wedding is at the Bavarian Inn Lodge...so not really a lodge in the normal sense.

The heels I'm wearing for the ceremony are 3.25" tall so my dress will be hemmed for those shoes. For walking around outside, I'd definitely prefer to have a wedge or platform rather than a heel (to get stuck in the ground).

There are some cute boots with wedge heels or chunkier heels that would be ok for walking around in grass and hills. Or something like these...ok just kidding.

Check on endless.com or the wedding shoppe in berkley. They have very cute satin wedge shoes. Dressier and more fall apprporiate than flip flops but you won't sink. Go on the endless website, go to women's shoes and search for "bridal" you will get a bunch. :-)
