Unique Gown

http://tinyurl.com/mj5g4b Creative, interesting, unique -- but I can't decide if I like it or if it's just weird (and I work with sheep fleece). She needed more design guidance - she's too chunky for all the chunky sheep-locks. The groom's vest looks beautiful, though.

I like the concept but the actual execution isn't really my favorite...

I could not imagine trying to dance around in a wool gown. I think the only place you could is Antarctica; LOL.

I think it would be hot too - but she is in west England, where summer doesn't get as beastly steamy as here. Also, wool insulates both ways. So it's cooler than you'd expect in hot weather. I wish though that she had had all the wool spun, and a finer fabric woven or knitted. That sheep breed has soft, shiny locks that would have made fabric with a satiny sheen. Maybe she is planning to have the skirt of the dress washed, carded, and spun and make a coverlet for their bed.
