Crinoline

For you ladies who needed crinolines with your dress, what fullness did you get? I have a ball gown with some crinoline already attached to it so I planned on getting a medium or maybe a full crinoline at the most. Well when I went to buy it the girls at the store and the alteration lady told me to go with the very full one. I know they probably know better than me about this stuff but if feels like a lot...really a lot. I feel a little overwhelmed in it. How big was your crinny and was it too heavy, hard to walk in ,etc?

Mine had some crinny attached already too  - so I got a medium fullness. I wasn't even going to get another one but the alterations lady insisted and convinced the BM who went with me at that fitting that it looked better. So I sucked it up and got one and just took it off at the reception. I really wasn't all about the poof.

when I try my dress on with crinoline, it is really HOT!  (temperature-wise)  The crinoline does add something to the dress structure, but I've decided against it - primarily for the increased heat it creates. My dress is a dropped waist - so its not real poofy to begin with.HOpe it helps.

I got a medium fullness, 2 tier slip (the one from David's) and I already have some fullness to my dress.  I think with a full crinoline it might be too much?  The crinny isn't hard to walk in, but I agree with PP, it is HOT!!!
