Bridal Show?

Has anyone been to a bridal show? Are they worth it? I'm debating about goint to one at the Palace on Sunday.

I think there is a post a few down about the shows... I wrote a little bit on that one as well. Personally I feel that the board is much more helpful and better with reccomendations than a show, but I went just for the experience. It's very crowded. Be careful of "winning" things... you might win a ton of stuff but make sure its legit. I also posted this in my other post, but try to avoid giving out your phone number, and make stickers ahead of time with your name, grooms name, wedding date, & email so you can just give them to specific vendors. GL. You'll have so much junk when you get home, immediately go through it and sort out the vendors/places that you might find helpful and the ones that you immediately don't want while its still very fresh in your mind. GL!

I would be careful that you might get put on some mailing/phone lists. That can get really annoying! I also agree with the previous post, you can get good recs here. I only went to one show, the Viviano Florist show that they have in March since I used them as my florist.

I've been to three; one of which was the big one at Rock Financial. Personally, I felt like I got a lot more information at the two smaller shows I went to afterwards. Like PP said; I was put on a lot of mailings and received tons of phone calls. If you don't want phone calls, use a fake number and I would make an email specifically for the shows. If you find a vendor you like just update your info with them. HTH!
