Ref to the Flower Girl Dress

Is it normally up to the bride to find a flower girl dress and the mom of the flower girl buys it or do they both go together and look? How did you handle the situation?

    My cousin whose daughter was a FG sent me links to some dresses.  My other friend offered to help.  When I found flowergirldressforless.com I sent them the pics and they both liked the dress so that's what we went with.  They did pay for it.  It was only about $50 each.

    We just bought ours because we have two girls and I wanted their dresses to be similar. I allowed the older girl to pick out the dress and then just ordered the similar version for the younger one. I would just ask the mom what she prefers, and follow the golden rule: whoever has to pay makes the decision. :)
