Hi Girls!Sorry I have been missing for the last couple weeks- I have been crazy busy but finally after 1.5 years of looking I have a new job! I start on Monday and it is in my field. It is such a relief to be done looking! I dont know if I will be able to post at my new job but I will for peek at home to see how all of you are doing!

Erica we will always have facebook And of course you have to keep me updated on your dress hunt!Corrine- YES! It is! Thank you so much to everyone who helped me. I asked for more and they met me in the middle so that is good. I was so nervous. LOLIt is for a pharmaceutical company near Grand Rapids, I will be doing Records Management (which is what my Masters is in,) and the best part is Kevin and I can carpool to work together saving gas and time! I just cant believe it took all this time to find something. LOL

Katie, records management can mean a lot of things- for instance, my degree is in Archives and Records Management- with the emphasis on archives- which are depositories for primary source material- so like a library but with cooler stuff. Records Management can involve implementing records procedures (mainly to go with governmental standards,) or recommending filing systems, email procedures etc. Basically I will be making sure all the records are maintained in a way that OSHA, the EPA, ATF or any other agencies come in we are set. Records management is a growing field as more and more companies are becoming liable for things that happened in their past and to become standardized for the future. In the future I want to become a CRM (it is a test you have to take to become certified,) and work in a museum doing catalouging and exhibits- but I need to get my feet wet first and let the economy open up!
