Spaghetti Warehouse (Rehearsal Dinner) A-
The only problem I had with them was that our reservations were for 7:30 and therefore they would not let us sit down till 7:30 promptly, which was annoying since we were just standing around for 15-20 minutes. Other than that it was great, the price and the food was good, the service was great, they even kept our cake in their fridge during dinner.
St. Peter’s Catholic Church/Columbus (Ceremony) A
I had my ceremony there since I have been a member there for the last 5 years and I think it is beautiful. However, I know if you are not a parishioner it is $1000 to have your ceremony there. My only complaint was that we were supposed to be the only ones there all day on Saturday according to our wedding coordinator however somehow there ended up being a baptism there at 12 and they didn’t leave the Church area till 2 and my ceremony started at 2:30.
Mary Stephenson/Acorn Graphics (Photography) A
We used Mary because she was the photographer for my BIL’s wedding. I haven’t seen my wedding pictures yet but she did an amazing job with our engagement pictures. It was $1400 for two photographers all day until we sent them home (it was from about 9am-8pm) that also included are engagement pictures. We also get the rights to all of our photos which was extremely important for us. She was extremely patient and let us take as much family pictures before the wedding which included close to 30 people.
Odyssey Premier (Limo) B
A limo wasn’t very important to me but we wanted it so we could take pictures before the wedding. We originally got a 14 person white limo but they apparently sold it so we got a Cadillac Escalade instead which was more than enough room for the 11 people we took to take pictures. They were there promptly however I did have some issues with them. For one after we finish taking pictures outside prior to the ceremony the limo driver started driving to the reception hall driving past the church so we had to let him know that we would like to get married first. Then my other issue with him was that he was dressed and looked like he worked in a pawn store. He was wearing a short sleeve button down shirt that showed all of his tattoos and chains around his neck, basically not dressed for the occasion.
American Legion Hall/Westerville (Reception) A
This is one venue not too many people know of. But it was $700 to have the hall all day Saturday and an extra $100 from 5pm the day before which is what we did so we could set up. It was nice because they don’t have any preferred vendors so you can use anyone you want and you can bring in any food or alcohol you want.
