BM needs to order dress, how to remind nicely

the end of April  I let my BM know that I would like them to order their dresses sometime in May.  It take about 4 months to get them in so I wanted to have them in a few months before just in cases there's a problem and for any alt.  I didn't wan to bug them about it so I called the bridal shop to see who has ordered.  One BM hasn't order yet.  How can I let her know that I really would like her to order the dress soon with out seeming pushy.  She hasn't said anything to me so I don't know if she forgot or is having money issues.  I don't want to be like everyone else has ordered just waiting on you. I know it's not the end of may yet but with this being a holiday weekend I don't see her going this weekend.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate method but I had the same issue, one BM had not ordered their dress yet.  So, I sent out an e-mail to all of my BMs asking how they were, giving a little wedding update and "reminding" them to make sure they go in to order their dress by a certain date.  I further explained that the dresses needed to be ordered by that date, per the bridal shops direction, to assure that the dresses come from the same dye lot.  I then told them if there were any questions, concerns, or problems to contact me asap so we could get it figured out before the drop dead date on the dresses.

I think Mel's suggestion is perfect.

I had the same problem too. I live in CA and was only in MI for a weekend so all my girls but one had ordered hers. I just sent friendly reminders via text and she let me know money was tight for a little bit so i said it wasn't a problem since I definitely understand. I then called Davids Bridal on my end and asked what the latest she could order would be and waited to hear from her. She ended up ordering a couple weeks later and thanked me for being so patient and understanding with her.

I was STRESSED out for sure though.

    Mel's suggestion was good..

I had my BM's order them from an internet site so there was no way I could track whether they ordered their dresses yet or not. I e-mailed everyone a reminder.. Then a week later I talked to every BM individually to see how they were doing and if they had ordered their BM dress yet. This worked for me..

Mel's suggestion is very polite. I have a BM that ordered her dress at the very last minute, literally. I said everything needed to be ordered by April 1 at 5:00 pm. She was there at 4:30 getting fitted. I was calling her constantly because I knew she would be the last one. It's ok to stay on top of them until they do it!
