"Father of the Bride"

I was watching "Father of the Bride" with Steve Martin the other night for the first time, and I was holding back tears the entire time! I was watching it at FIs house with his parents, so I didn't want to cry, but I started to tear up so many times. I would have started bawling if I'd been watching it by myself. I am moving out of my parents house for the first time when I get married in July, so I could really relate to the daddy-daughter relationship. It really made me understand it from my dad's point of view. Now I can't stop thinking about it, and I start to tear up at random times! Female emotions can be so annoying. I just thought that I would share that :)

I love that movie as well. I'm old enough to have seen the original with Elizabeth Taylor & Spencer Tracy, which they sometimes show on AMC or TMC channels. It's really quite similar, and I love the voice-over that Spencer Tracy does which I think is a more dry sense of humor, and in some ways funnier.

Wait til you are pregnant! Watching movies like "Stepmom", or birthing shows on TLC will get you!

That is my favorite movie! I had it on when FI came home and he found on the couch crying my eyes! :)
