So i've been around for about 2 years or so... i was helping my sister plan her wedding so came on here for info for her. Then stuck around because my Fi and I got engaged. We weren't ready to set a date right away so i sorta drifted away from the site. Well, we set a date so let the planning begin!! :)
Our date is Wednesday Feb 29, 2012. We love leap year (day) idea. Very excited to finally get this show on the road!!

    Thanks ladies!! :)  Shesheduke - we have not decided... i guess it isn't really a big deal. i'd assume we'd celebrate every year on Feb 18th, since it'd be a feb date.
    i'm sure some people won't like our Wednesday night plans, but we're planning something pretty small. i'd like to keep it 50 people or under. Unforunately our immidiate family is 30 people! (FI comes from a large family) so it doesn't leave a whole lot of room for friends/extended family.

    i didn't mean Feb 18 haha. i meant 28th oops :)
    And you're right- the people that mean the most to us and vise versa will make it to our special day!

    Hi and congrats! I love the leap year idea, but I am crazy cost effective (cheap) and would only do presents on the actual wedding date then (super cheap lol!)  I worried about our sunday wedding for awhile but it is your day, the people who love you will just be happy for you.  Plus think of all the money you'll save (sooo cheap)

    Picklesmurphy- obviously we picked the date because we love it... BUT can't say the prices didnt factor in haha. and it's a great excuse for a small wedding :)
