In honor of the sun and weather

What are you most looking forward to doing this spring/summer?  And something besides getting married because obviously for some of us that is the answer!

Me: getting the yard in decent shape so I can sit out there and enjoy the heat.  Also so I can play with my puppy outside without freezing.

    Being able to have the windows open.  I hate how stuffy it gets in the winter.  And I love laying outside and reading a good book :)

    Everything!  Whether we stay in our current house or look to buying one, I really want to start a garden.  And I'd like to start exercising outside more, either running or walking or maybe even biking.

    Getting our patio completely finished...just need a few more touches...and then sitting outside with a glass of wine.  Basically sitting on any patio with a glass of wine...my favorite place is bayside grille in walled lake  BEST VIEW EVER!

    I'm a big fan of exercising outdoors - taking walks, going for a run, or a casual bike ride, playing Ultimate with friends or a pick up game somewhere, taking my pooch to the dog park... I just L-O-V-E being outside! (and I enjoy winter too, but I have respiratory problems that keep me from doing too much besides throwing a snowball here or there)

    Yay spring!! I see sooooooo much grass today and I hope it stays that way!

    getting our yard in order.  we bought our house with completely dead grass that quickly became overrun with weeds and crabgrass.  we've had to 'kill' the entire yard and start from scratch. 

    we'll have to  do round two this spring.  fingers crossed that we don't look like we're living in New Mexico anymore!

    Bon-fires!!! We bought our first home in Oct, and bought a fire pit. We only got to use it a couple times before it got to cold out. So bon-fires will be a weekly thing here once it gets warmer.Also flip flops. I am addicted to them and cant wait to dig them out.

    Dinners on our back deck. FI grills and I'm in charge of the sides and the drinks.

    I miss my garden, too! Store-bought tomatoes and peppers have no taste!

    I love this place!

    My photographer is right across the street from Bayside. She recommeded we go there one night for dinner and now FI and I love it! It's a drive (we live in Bham), but it's worth it :)

    Moving around my garden!! We killed off our backyard a few years ago and put in a big garden. It is really starting to fill in. I can't wait to have fresh lavender in the house again!

    I miss spring/summer and this weather is a great reminder as too why I love those seasons!  Too bad it's going to get cold again.

    I would say I am upset about this but FI is out of town all next week so I would not be able to meet up anyways.  The puppies don't look to kindly on being locked up all day.  Hopefully next month someone will get one planned.  I think I maybe pre-occupied to plan one but not so much to go to one!

    We are having our rehersal dinner there mainly because of the view!!  You can't beat it!

    We're getting a fire pit, too.  We had one built in the ground at our old house.  I miss that house... :(  We're only allowed above-ground pits here, so we'll be getting one this year for sure!  I'm looking forward to that, laying in the hammock during sunset with my sweetheart, having people over for BBQs, and going to the park with Bubbas and Lola Bear.  This will be her first summer and his first summer where he'll actually know a bit of what is going on.

    Where do you scuba dive around here? I always thought this was something you only did in tropical places.

    I go in the great lakes and also at some inland lakes in the west part of the state near kalamazoo.  I've also been diving in lake st. clair and the detroit river.  Diving in the great lakes is actually really cool since the fresh water keeps the ship wrecks intact longer than salt water.
