Names on Envelopes of STD's

I tried looking at a couple of different boards, I found posts similar to mines but not exactly.

How do properly type the name on envelopes for a family where you are addressing the mother and daughter. Would it say Mother Smith and Daughter Smith, Mother & Daughter Smith, send two separate mailings for the same house (I saw this as an answer to another post, but I'm not in agreement with it since I would be wasting a STD).

I wanted to get your opinions, but I can email my Invitation person as well.

Is the daughter a child  or over age 18?

Technically if she is an adult, she should get her own even if living at home, but for an STD I don't think anyone will lose their mind if you just address it to both of them. But for the invitiation you should follow etiquette and send her an invite and allow her to bring a guest provided you are allowing your single guests to bring guests.

If she's a child or you want to save on an STD it should be addressed:
Ms. Susie Smith
Ms. Daughter Smith
Address

I sent multiple STDs to the household, but that was only cause we had extra STDs... I think its perfectly OK to send one to the same household.  But when it comes time for invites, send them each their own invites.
