Need a ceremony site

I live in MI and need some help finding a ceremony site. We really like the log cabin or hunting lodge feel. I hate halls. This will also be a bigger wedding. I am having a terrible time finding something that isnt an arm and a leg to rent. Please help!

    I think we need a few more details before we can help too much.  How many guests is a "bigger" wedding?  100, 500?  This can make a difference.  Also how much is "an arm and a leg" to you?  What is one person's expensive can be another person's reasonable based up on budget.

    You should also check out the vendor stickies at the top of the board.  It is a massive list of everyone's vendors -- including ceremony and reception locations.

    The Iroquois Club has a warm, lodge-y feel to it (we're getting married there in February!).  It has birch trees encased in glass when you first walk in, exposed brick throughout the place and a fireplace.  If you're having 150ppl or less, this venue can accommodate a ceremony right in front of the fireplace and a reception there too!

    Thank you so much! Well we both have huge families. this is just the start of my planning for the wedding. But, im guessing itll be around 300 people.

    Lapeer Country Club is a log cabin... sorry I can't give you much details about them but I know it's gorgeous!
