Hi ladies,

I'm a native Metro Detroiter who currently lives in Philly.  I will be in the Detroit area in a few weeks to try on wedding dresses in the company of my sisters and a couple of dear friends.  I'm looking for suggestions for great places to shop for a wedding dress for plus-size brides in Metro Detroit.  Any suggestions are welcome.  Thanks!

I've heard great things about Bombshell Bridal, in St. Clair Shores I believe?  I've never been there though, so I can't give a firsthand opinion!

Alessandra's in Warren is a great shop that has beautiful plus size dresses.  GL.

I've been to Bombshell Bridal Boutique and I can't recommend it enough. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful! Plus it is a locally owend business so I feel really good about supporting that.

If you're looking for a bigger chain store, I also had a good experience at Alfred Angelo
