Please help me choose my favors

Help me. I'm coming up with too many choices and don't know what to do.

Edible works. Anything edible is always a great choice. People tend to throw away all the other stuff.

Edible favors are definitely the way to go. I agree with Lisa that people tend to throw away the other stuff.

I voted candy buffet because here wasn't an option for nothing. I have a personal dislike of favors - IF you are going to spend money on something, do food. With a candy buffet they get the option of what they want.

Please don't waste your money on random things like cds or 'something golf related' (especially if they will also have your wedding date and names printed/engraved on them) because they will not get used by a majority of the guests and will just end up in a box in someone's attic or the garbage.

Yep, I would definitely go with something edible. Either the M&M's, almonds, or a candy buffet. It just really depends on your budget and how much you want to spend on them. M&M's in organza bags will be much less expensive than a candy buffet.

Don't do CD's with your favorite music on them. I say this because chances are a very small # of your guests will enjoy the same songs that you do and they'll probably listen to the CD once (maybe on the way home from your wedding, if that) and then never listen to it again. I'm a HUGE music buff and even I have received CD's as wedding favors and I haven't listened to them more than 1 or 2 times. Your money would be better spent on something that people will really enjoy "right now" i.e., something edible!

I like the candy bar..I love music and honestly I listen to the wedding cd's so I think eiether are great. But my #1 would be the candy bar.

I voted for the candy buffet. But this is definitely something you can cut if it's not in your budget. Something edible is always a hit. Although, we are not doing edible favors, we are doing flower seed packets and if people don't want them, I'll plant them at my own house!

I would nix the CD idea. I have gotten a few CDs from weddings and barely knew any of the songs so I ended up throwing it away. Waste of money. I also received a deck of cards from another wedding. It was a cute idea, but they were pictures of their favorite kind of dog (Doxen) on each pic and then on the other side it had their names and their wedding date. To me it was just too overboard.

I voted candy buffet, because that way everyone can chose what they want.  But if that's too expensive or too much trouble, I think any edible favor will do.  Although, IMO, the jordan almonds in organza bags option is least attractive.  It just seems like you see that all the time, and I'd want something a little more unique.

We did the M&M's with our names and date on them. I out a scoop in an organza bag and put them in a box with ribbon around it and a pearl on top. Everybody loved them and I only had 5 left over. Here is a pic of the favor boxes.
