Looking for locations that you can rent and bring your own food in for a bridal shower. We're not looking to spend more than $200 on a room rental. This would be in the canton/livonia/commerce twp area.

Look at comminity centers. There is a Community center in farmington hills, right on Grand River and Middlebelt. Charges like $250.

Plymouth Cultural Center?  I went to a baby shower there where the food was brought in, so I'd assume it's allowed there.

Also, you could do your shower outside in one of the community parks (i.e. McClumpha in Plymouth, Hines in Plymouth/Northville/Livonia) and rent one of the pavillions.  Usually the pavillion rentals are pretty cheap.  Plus you're under cover if the weather is dicey.

You can also rent out big and small rooms at the Summit in Canton (but I don't know about the food situation--I'd call and ask:  http://leisure.canton-mi.org/summit/rental.aspx).
