Hopefully my last invite question post!

Ok so now that I am thinking about invites now I am running into wording issues. How do I word the invites in this situtation:
My parents are paying for a majority of the wedding. All hall related costs, food, liquor, taxes, gratuity, chair rentals for ceremony, invitations, my dress and half of shower. FI parents are paying for rehersal dinner (back yard bbq at their home), videographer, half of shower and cake. (Possibly more.... long story, but not sure so we are not counting it in our budget). We are paying for DJ, Florist, Photographer, and limo.

So when wording the invites do I include the names of both sets of parents?
I saw something I kind of liked that went something along the lines of: Together with our parents, Bride's Parents names and Grooms Parents Name, blah blah blah,
Or do most people only do the brides parents names. Not sure how to do it.
Thanks ladies you are the best.

I would put together with their parents, that sounds appropriate and shouldn't hurt anyone's feelings.

Together with their parents or together with their families both work.

my family is kind of old fashioned and since they are paying for it, they would be offended if I worded it neutraly, so we are going with old-fashioned wording: mrs and mrs john and jane doe request the honor of your presence at the marriage of their daughter janie doe to stevie smith, son of mr and mrs steve and sue smith

We are wording the invitations this way even though FIs parens, FI, and I are paying for the wedding. We agreed that it wouldn't be right to exclude my parent's names from the invitations. Both of our families are very traditional and would object to "Together with their families".

Mock up a sample of the invitation with the wording you like and see what they think.
