Wedding Colors...

Hello Girls, I need your opinion.

Our wedding was suppose to be in September and now we moved it to May.
The colors we were thinking was Red and Champagne for a fall wedding. Both my FI and I like the color red. I would like to still use Red for the wedding in May. I guess my question is do you think red is ok to use in the spring. And what color if any would you suggest going with red for a May wedding? Thanks ladies.

    I think they are both great for a spring wedding!  The champagne will help balance/tone down the red.  I don't think that you can only have certain color combos in certain seasons.  Except maybe red and green in the summer...that would look odd.

    Honestly, I think you could still use the Red and Champagne. I think that color combo sounds very pretty and would look beautiful no matter what time of year.

    If you are still not sure though - what about red, yellow and orange? They are nice bright colors that would make me think of May and getting ready for summer.

    I think red and champagne would work.  To me those colors seem elegant, romantic and timeless no matter what season it is.

    I agree with PP.  Red and Champagne sound very nice together and would work with whatever time of year. Both of my best friends had red as their colors, one was in May with no other color and the other was in September with yellow as accents.

    I say go for whatever you want its your wedding. Plus I am a red fan too so I am biased! :)

    Thanks everyone for the input! I must say i am very happy to hear that all of you think Red and Champagne will work for spring :) Because i really wanted it to work too. But most of what i heard from family and friends is that they aren't really spring colors. So i have been pretty much driving myself crazy on if i should change them or not.

    But im definitely glad i asked fellow knotties for their input! Thanks again.
