BM Dress Indecision

Ladies - need your help!

We're having an October wedding. I really love the mocha color, very different than the typical Claret/red, however not all the girls look good in the color. The girls are pretty much spilt with which the prefer. I also think it might be easier to match flowers to the Claret.

Which color BM dress should I go with - Mocha (pictured below)or Claret (color swatch below)? Any advice is appreciated

I love, love, love the mocha and think you could get lovely flowers for it.

However, if the girls don't look/feel good in mocha, I would do the claret.  I wanted yellow dresses, and have navy, mainly because not everyone (or even most people) look good in yellow

Our wedding is on 9/24 and the girls are wearing dark champagne (mocha-ish). It's been super easy to coordinate. It's your decision though, because the color you choose will drive the theme/style of the wedding (linens, invitations, etc). Although it's nice to open it up to the girls for opinions - that is what you're going to get...a lot of opinions. Since the girls are split on what they prefer, just choose what you prefer.

i was going to also suggest a mix of both colors. my sister got married last summer and we wore Pool and Expresso from DB. the colors looked beautiful together and mixed.

I would go with the color the girls feel most comfortable in.  It's just one nice thing to do for them since they are participating in the wedding, and it's one less thing to have drama about.

Personally I like the red but either one would be good.  But f the girls aren't comfortable in it, that isn't good.  You can always tell when a BM hates her dress or doesn't feel confident in it.

I love the mocha!  And, flowers don't have to match the dress, they just have to "go."  Claret-colored flowers would pop nicely with the mocha dresses, I think.

I like the mocha best. Why not add a claret sash?
