Wedding Dress Alteration Suggestions

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good person/place for alterations that is around Troy or Novi.  I got my dress from David's Bridal but really don't want to take it back there.  Every time I've had to go there for something it is just a production and I end up very aggravated.  Thanks! :)

    I strongly recommend Bella Alterations in Livonia, MI.  My sister used her for her wedding dress and I am planning to take mine there.  I also know of a few Knotties who went there (Booger+Bear, Melhunny, MsNobody) and everyone was pleased with her work and prices.

    I would ask for Angela, she's great. 

    Oh, and they are located right off of 96 and Newburgh, in the same parking lot as Laurel Manor.

    I'm going to third Bella's. It's a little further away, but well worth it. I took my dress there and just went in for my second fitting a couple of weeks ago. I asked to have a little more in the top taken in, but otherwise it looks amazing!

    I am using LaVelle Bridal in Garden City. Mary has been awesome to work with and has very reasonable prices. Let me know if you would like her phone number.

    Hana Ayer in Macomb is great. She works out of her home and is really reasonably priced.

    Her number is 586-421-1936. She has worked wonders with my dress.

    I recommend Mary Rodzewicz, she works out of her home in Garden City.  She does great work and is reasonably priced.  She also has an online store where she sells all kinds of accessories and veils, www.shopforbridaldirect.com. You can contact her through that site too.

    i have a family friend that does alterations. she lives in wixom. I will pm her phone # to you if you want. she works out of her house and she is really good..and cheaper than most bridal shops!

    I would recommend Michelle at the Wedding Shoppe in Berkley.  She did a great job in my dress.  Full review and more info is in the link in my siggy.
